The Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival is a two-week celebration of the abundance of excellent local food and drink to be found in East Suffolk. The 2012 Festival will take place throughout East Suffolk on the above dates,?with the main weekend event being held at Snape Maltings, Suffolk IP17 1SR on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September 2012.

The main festival weekend has an impressive two-day programme of talks, workshops and cookery demonstrations including hands on lessons from several celebrity and well-known local chefs including Valentine Warner, Thomasina Miers, Angela Hartnett and Henry Harris. A?number of workshops will also be run by Adnams offering an introduction to Wine, Beer and Spirits.

In addition to the weekend Festival,? two weeks of Fringe Events will be held to show case the ?field to fork? ?principle, providing unique opportunities to visit producers, explore the countryside and experience new dining experiences.
